Mexico Deaf Ministry Retreat

July 23, 2026

Mexico Deaf Ministry Retreat

After a long period of prayer and preparation, Pastor Chulhee Lee of New York Deaf Church held the first Mexico Deaf Ministry Retreat this year. Deaf church pastors and ministry leaders from the United States, South Korea, and Mexico City came together to lead worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship programs.

Although this was the first retreat, approximately 30 Deaf participants attended and shared a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement. It was especially significant to see Deaf pastors and ministry leaders from different countries come together as one community in Christ, overcoming barriers of language and distance.

It is currently estimated that around 100 Deaf people live in the Quintana Roo and Yucatán regions. We pray that this retreat will continue to grow so that, in the future, all of them may be invited to hear the Gospel, build relationships, and become part of a strong community of faith.
